I come from a family in which there was ALWAYS a pepper and salt grinder on the table. For a while even, much to my embarrassment, my dad took to carrying his OWN pepper grinder to restaurants.
I, also, like my s&p freshly ground, but have had some bad luck with grinders falling apart over the years so I started getting the ones from Trader Joe’s. They do the trick, but they seem so — common. So this morning I took a little inspiration over my egg and re-imagined them with pretty paper. I tried to upcycle one of Grace’s art projects but there was too much stuff glued on it that came off, so I settled on some ads from a magazine. Loving how they look!
